Ensemble Sinawi. 앙상블 시나위는 전통음악을 기반으로 세계무대에 나아가는 창작음악그룹이다. 2007년 워크숍을 통해 기량이 탁월한 연주자들로 결성이 되었으며, 우리 전통음악의 멋과 깊이로 현대사회와 소통할 수 있는 그들만의 언어를 장착하고 연주한다.
『SINAWI』means improvisation in shaman music in korean traditional music. Through workshops on rhythms, solo instrumental music, shaman songs, pansori and other various genres of Korean traditional music, 『SINAWI』 weave those musical ideas into creative sinawi. At the same time, they seek to extend the potential of Korean music for the future as well as succeed improvisational music with its basis on Korea traditional music.
